Who are these classes for?
4-8 year old children of all shapes, sizes and interests
Note: 3.5 year olds who are comfortable without a parent, are not disruptive and can take instruction are also welcome.
What are the classes like?
Our classes are fun! Teaching yoga to children is nothing like teaching yoga to adults. We play, we co-create and we uplift each other by allowing room for each child’s creativity to shine through.
Each class goes on a journey, building up the energy and then bringing it back down. This engages this children, honours their need for high energy activity whilst teaching them ways to practice and enjoy quiet time.
Each class incorporates elements of yoga-inspired movement (asana), breathing (pranayama), meditation and philosophy; for this age group an example would be modelling and practicing ways to be kind.
