Need help with sleep that isn't sleep training?
Exhaustion is hard. Conflicting advice is harder.
If you're looking for gentle, evidence-informed support that respects both your child and your parenting values, you're in the right place.
Together we'll explore what's normal, what's challenging, and what changes might help your whole family get more rest.
You don't need to choose between responsiveness and sleep.
Many families come to me feeling stuck.
They want more sleep, but they don't want to leave their child to cry.
They want change, but they don't want to ignore their instincts.
The good news is that those aren't the only options.
This isn't a sleep training program.
What makes this different?
There are no rigid schedules.
No one-size-fits-all routines.
No expectation that you must leave your child to cry if that doesn't align with your values.
Instead, we'll look at your child, your family, your goals, and your capacity.
Then we'll create a plan that feels sustainable and realistic for you.
This is family-led support, not a formula.
Who is this for?
You might be in the right place if:
You're exhausted and need practical support.
You're confused by conflicting sleep advice.
You want to understand what is normal.
Your current approach isn't working anymore.
You want gentle change without traditional sleep training.
You'd like support that considers the wellbeing of the whole family.
What we work on
Rather than focusing solely on sleep, we look at the bigger picture.
Together we may explore:
Sleep expectations and normal development
Bedtime and overnight routines
Feeding and sleep
Sleep environment
Family wellbeing and parental capacity
Responsive settling approaches
Toddler sleep challenges
Early rising
Night waking
Nap transitions
Because sleep rarely exists in isolation.

Our sleep story with Oskar.
We found ourselves a little stuck between following our intuitive and gentle parenting philosophy and allowing our 18-month-old to learn to fall asleep in his own bed.
Having co-slept and breastfed to sleep since his birth, we knew we would need to be held through this process and that some expert guidance would give us the confidence we needed.
Having ignored my intuition years earlier by attending a sleep centre with my firstborn, I was keen to not repeat that again!
I knew Nancy was the person to help us, having a very similar parenting philosophy and a warm, nurturing nature. She helped us come up with a plan of how we would gently guide our little one to sleep on his own bed.
Nancy became my much-loved Sleep Doula, sharing in the joys and triumphs as I navigated the following weeks of settling my child always with positive and calm intention and surroundings.
More than anything, Nancy reminded me that it is possible for children to develop the skill of sleeping independently, especially when given the opportunity and loving guidance of a parent - and even more so when the parents are tenderly held and supported through this phase.
Thank you Nancy! xxx
